This year saw new promotional activity on Facebook with participating businesses contributing special offers and giveaways generating a reach of over 28,000 on the Lantern Parade Facebook page and a phenomenal increase of unique visits on both the Lismore & Nimbin and Lantern Parade websites.
Huge congratulations to everyone who participated and attended the 2013 Lismore Lantern Parade. It was a fantastic night (no rain) and the new venue at Oakes Oval proved to be very successful with seats sold out in the grand stand and bleachers. Despite a few minor teething problems, response has been overwhelmingly positive.
Many thanks to the volunteers and sponsors who support this event, for without whom there would be no Lantern Parade.
