Following the devastating bushfires in November 2019, members of NCCI engaged in a partnership with the wider community to develop a Nimbin Community Disaster Plan.
Mitigation of the impacts of global warming and associated disasters on NCCI’s assets, and those of the wider community, is a key element of NCCI’s action planning into the future. Guidelines contained in the Community Disaster Plan, completed in April 2021, feed into that process with the aim of seeing us better prepared to protect the assets of NCCI into future.
